To enroll a student at Academy of Dance, an ENROLLMENT FORM must be completed, signed, and dated by the student’s parent, or guardian (if under 18 years of age). A $20.00 per student, or $50.00 per family non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of registration. This fee covers administration costs and will reserve a place for the student in an appropriate class. This is a one-time fee as long as the student continues taking classes.
Change of Status Form
If an existing student adds, drops, or changes any classes, or if there is a change in any personal information (which is required on their enrollment form); you must complete a CHANGE OF STATUS FORM. If a student drops a class they must immediately notify the staff by completing a change of status form; which can be obtained at the front desk. This will allow another student to fill the vacant spot. If a student drops a class and does not notify the staff, you will continue to be responsible for payment of that class.
Academy of Dance releases a “Communique” via email usually once a week in order to keep students and parents informed of upcoming events. Please make sure that you are receiving these emails and to read each one thoroughly. It is important to stay informed.
Enrolled students will have the opportunity to perform in two annual performances. All students are encouraged to participate however participation is not required. Students who choose to participate will be required to purchase costumes. Students will receive COSTUME ORDER FORMS several months prior to each performance. The form must be completed and submitted along with payment in full, by the costume form due date. Dress rehearsals are mandatory. If a student is absent from the dress rehearsal, they may be un able to perform.

Please do not drop off students any earlier than 10 minutes prior to their class time and please make sure to pick up students, immediately following their class.
Parents and Guests
All visitors of Academy of Dance must conduct themselves in an ethical and appropriate manner while at our facility. Academy of Dance staff members work very hard to provide children and adults with a positive learning environment. Yelling, cursing, gossip, and slander are not allowed and will not be tolerated. Parents, please supervise any children that you bring to the facility AT ALL TIMES! Keep your children within of your arms reach. DO NOT allow your children to play outside on the porch, or in the parking lot for this is dangerous.
The fall/winter season can bring unexpected and stormy weather. In an effort to keep our staff and students safe, the studio will need to close, from time-to-time depending on weather conditions. If the weather is questionable, an email message will be sent out on whether or not we will be having classes. Any missed classes due to a studio closure can be made up in any other class at the student’s level.
