Studio Policies
Enrollment
To register a student at Academy of Dance, an Enrollment Form must be completed, signed, and dated by a parent or guardian (if the student is under 18).
A non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment:

$25 per student

$50 for two students
-
$60 per family
This one-time fee covers administrative costs and secures a spot in an appropriate class. As long as the student remains actively enrolled, no additional registration fees will be required.
Enrollment Changes
If your dancer will no longer be attending a class, please notify us via email before the 1st of the month. If we do not receive notice, the student’s spot will continue to be held and tuition will still be charged.
Need to adjust your dancer’s schedule? Let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate the change.

Please be sure you are receiving and reviewing these emails so you stay up to date with all studio information.
Performance Opportunities
Students enrolled at Academy of Dance have the chance to perform in two annual showcases. While participation is encouraged, it is not required.
For those who choose to perform:

Costume purchases are required
-
A Costume Order Form will be sent out well in advance

Forms and full payment must be submitted by the listed due date

Dress rehearsals are mandatory. Absence from the rehearsal may result in the student not being able to perform
Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Students may be dropped off no earlier than 5 minutes before their class begins.

Students under age 11 must be supervised when not in class.

Please pick up your dancer promptly after class ends.
Parents & Guests
To ensure a positive and respectful environment:

All visitors are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate and supportive manner

Behaviors such as yelling, cursing, gossip, or slander will not be tolerated
Parents, please supervise any children you bring to the studio at all times:

Keep children within your reach

Do not allow them to play on the porch or in the parking lot

Please note: No food or drink is allowed inside, except for water in a sealed container
Weather Closures
During the fall and winter, class cancellations may occur due to inclement weather.
If there’s ever a question about closures:

You will receive an email update

Our Facebook page will also be updated
Any missed classes due to weather may be made up in another class at the student’s level.
